1. Information We Collect

• Account information: email and display name
• Profile information: optionally, home location, handicap, profile photo
• Golf rounds: course logged, date, score, rating, notes; GPS at time of check-in if permission granted
• Social interactions: friends followed, likes, comments
• Location data: used only to suggest nearby courses in Log a Round; not tracked continuously or in background
• Device info: push notification token (if opted in), device platform

2. How We Use Your Information

• Core app functionality (rounds, map, social)
• Push notifications about friend activity (opt-in only)
• Nearby course suggestions (location permission only)
• Authentication and account security

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database, auth, file storage. US servers. Supabase Privacy Policy

• PostHog — product analytics used to understand feature usage and improve the app. PostHog Privacy Policy
• OpenGolfAPI — course search only; no personal data shared

4. Data Retention

Data is kept while your account is active. Deleting your account (Settings → Danger Zone) permanently and irreversibly deletes all data.

5. Your Rights

You may access or correct your information, delete your account, withdraw location permission, and opt out of push notifications — all available from device Settings or the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Pin Passport is not directed to children under 13. Contact us to remove any child's data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Continued use means acceptance of the updated policy.
