1. Acceptance of Terms
Pin Passport is made by OLeary Software LLC, an Arizona limited liability company based in Phoenix, Arizona (“we,” “us” or “our”). By downloading or using Pin Passport you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 or older to use Pin Passport. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) post false, offensive, or spam content; (b) harass or impersonate other users; (c) attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the app or its backend; (d) use the app for any unlawful purpose.
To report a user or content that breaks these rules, email [email protected] with the player’s display name and what happened. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post (rounds, notes, photos). By posting you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the app, including to other players on your profile and on leaderboards. You are responsible for ensuring your content doesn’t violate third-party rights.
6. Pro Upgrade
Pin Passport is free to use with up to 10 logged courses. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription, and the price is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm. There are no other fees. Pro stays unlocked on your account for as long as the app is offered, including future updates, and you can restore it on a new device.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds follow their policies. You can request one through Apple or Google Play. If something goes wrong with your purchase, contact us and we’ll help.
7. Course Data and Rankings
Course information comes from OpenGolfAPI (licensed under the Open Database License) and may contain errors. Pin Passport isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any golf course, club, or rankings publisher. Course names are used only to identify the courses you’ve played.
8. Intellectual Property
Pin Passport, its logo, wordmark, and app design are owned by OLeary Software LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We don’t guarantee the app will be available at all times or free of errors.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OLeary Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Danger Zone), or by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
